Vy is a coordinator for the content and delivery team. Her role coordinates logistics and provides support for AWE programs to ensure a seamless experience. As a first-generation Vietnamese American, Vy is passionate about creating equitable spaces and opportunities in the workplace. With just under a decade of experience in K-12 and higher education, Vy brings a love for both teaching and learning to her position. Her previous experience as an educator and program manager give her unique insight on effective strategies for instruction and program modification.
Vy is native to Las Vegas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from UNLV. On the weekends, Vy can be found baking a loaf of sourdough at home with her dog and two cats, on the pickleball court, or on a campground in a neighboring state.
