“Impactful! Insightful! AWEsome! My experience during Accelerator was all of that and more. The AWE team clearly outlined the program’s objectives, artfully demonstrated the value of each module and curated an environment that fostered collaboration and fellowship. Foundational tools were sharpened and deep introspection was encouraged. At the program’s conclusion, I felt empowered to pursue my career goals with vigor AND gained an accountability circle. I am taking action!”
Everyone I have interacted with at AWE are extremely passionate about advancing women in their career. As part of Accelerator, you are challenged to think differently about your career and how you can mould your own behaviours to support you. It’s a safe space and you feel comfortable to open up with the facilitators and your cohorts. I know that what I have learned will be invaluable going forward.
I joined Accelerator for two primary reasons: to meet women in industries different from my own; and to benefit from the collective, diverse knowledge that would be shared. During the program, I made many new connections and plan to continue those interactions. I learned to better frame what I know and share it in a way that makes others care – that was very helpful for me. I would highly recommend this program.
My Accelerator experience has been vital to my career and personal growth at a time when I felt prepared to take my job to the next level. From executive presence, to networking and overall confidence and negotiation, the program structure provided me with tactical and tangible takeaways that I have applied in my professional life and will take with me wherever I go. My “binder” is now my professional bible!
