On June 5th, AWE hosted over 75 executive women at the beautiful Peninsula Beverly Hills and featured Lisa Barron, a faculty member at UCI.
After a connection building exercise, Lisa led an interactive presentation on gender and negotiation. AWE guests learned new approaches to negotiation frameworks (Ask – Permission, Influence – Persuasion and Issue/Interest – Exchange), practical questions, and tactics to meet the underlying goals for all parties in both professional and personal scenarios.
