With a background in Business Administration and a Masters of the Arts in Global Sustainability, she combines her expertise to drive sustainable business practices and foster opportunities for women. Before joining AWE, she dedicated her efforts to various nonprofits, where she championed girl-centered activism and promoted climate resilience. In her role at AWE, Elise continues to leverage her skills and expertise to drive impactful solutions and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Elise’s commitment to empowering women is deeply rooted in her diverse career journey. With experience as a former commercial boat captain, she intimately understands the barriers women encounter in leadership roles. During her free time, you’ll still find Elise driving boats and diving with sharks. When she’s not on the water, she enjoys cozying up with a good book alongside her two calico cats.
