Nadia Owens is the Vice President, HR and Worldwide Total Rewards for BD, a leading global medical technology company headquartered in New Jersey.
Nadia is a Senior HR executive with over 20 years’ experience responsible for providing HR leadership to BD’s largest region in support of business strategy. This includes organizational design, succession planning and establishing the talent strategy for the region.
In addition, she is responsible for BD’s worldwide total rewards vision, leadership and strategic direction linked to BD’s talent and business strategies. Nadia leads BD’s global wellness strategy and also enables BD to effectively deploy and develop key talent globally through the design of the organization’s global mobility policy. She provides strategic executive rewards support to the Compensation and Benefits Committee of the Board of Directors and serves on various BD leadership councils and committees.
Prior to joining BD, Nadia held varied HR positions of increasing responsibility at companies like Diageo, Chanel, PeopleSoft and Young & Rubicam. In her roles, she had broad Human Resources responsibilities as an HR Business Partner, an HR Shared Services leader and she partnered with global organizations to implement HR global technology solutions.
Nadia holds an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Long Island University and a B.S. in Business Management from Long Island University.
