Sally Taylor is a product executive in the predictive analytics and decision management space, with over 30 years of experience shaping, managing, and delivering products that directly improve business operations and a high ROI. She is a trusted subject matter expert and sought after thought-leader in predictive analytics, decision science, product portfolio management, and product strategy from ideation to execution. The analytic products that Sally has developed have transformed businesses and even industries, as they’ve become integral to operational systems and processes and improved business results by empowering executive teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Sally started making her mark in the analytics industry during the days of relative obscurity when she joined FICO in 1987, and continues to innovate and lead the industry in its current state, where it is well recognized by all businesses for the high value it brings. As she worked her way from Programmer Analyst to her current role of Scores Vice President, Sally has been a part of monumental transformations at FICO including, her leading the FICO Scores adoption to revolutionize the mortgage industry, to initial business uses of mathematical optimization in the credit industry, to currently making analytics accessible and consumable via the FICO Analytic Cloud Marketplace.
In her current role, Sally manages a team of 60 professionals responsible for business development and partner relations, product strategy and management, marketing, analytic and software development, analytic delivery and project management for global business-to-business FICO score products. She and her team just recently announced the launch of a pilot for the new, innovative, UltraFICO™ Score, which leverages data from consumer’s bank accounts in addition to their credit report. Last year, Five Star recognized her as one of the Top Women in the Mortgage Industry.
A dedicated champion of women leaders, Sally is a long-standing sponsor of Women at FICO and is an active member of Advancing Women Executives – an organization with the mission to improve equity and economic growth in the workplace.
Sally completed her Bachelors of Arts in Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley. When she is not in the office, Sally can be found traveling the world, growing her passion for photography, or indulging in a delicious meal. She currently resides in the beautiful city of San Francisco.
