Sabiha Chunawala
Former Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Juniper Networks
Sabiha Chunawala is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Juniper Networks, Inc., the industry leader in network innovation located in Sunnyvale, CA. Sabiha manages the global commercial transaction practice area for Juniper focusing on the creation and negotiation of agreements for the licensing, marketing, support, sale and distribution of Juniper’s products and services and compliance training for the global sales, services and marketing organization. In addition to her day job, Sabiha participates in continuing legal education panels and in an advisory capacity on the topic of Anti-corruption and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act with the American Conference Institute and Marcus Evans.
When she is not at her desk at Juniper, Sabiha pursues her passion for philanthropy and giving back to the community. She serves as President for the Board of the Santa Clara City Library Foundation & Friends whose mission is to strengthen the Library as a pillar of our diverse and thriving community through philanthropic funding, inspired advocacy and active partnership. She is a member of Advancing Women Executives, a leadership program for senior executives whose mission is to increase the number of women in executive management and on boards to improve the global economy, and California Women Lawyers, a statewide bar association for women that focuses on promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession and actively advocating for the concerns of women in society.
Sabiha received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelors in Business Administration, Corporate Finance from Stetson University and is a member of the California Bar Association.
