Vice President of US Commercial Operations, Gilead Sciences
Monica Tellado is Vice President of US Commercial Operations at Gilead Sciences. She joined Gilead Sciences in 2003 as Finance Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis. In the years since, she has held positions of increasing responsibility in the finance and commercial organizations.
Her current role as Vice President of US Commercial Operations, includes the functions of marketing operations, commercial learning & development, sales analytics & operations, and marketing sciences across all therapeutic areas. Monica is responsible for supporting the build-out in to new theraupedic areas, commercialization of new products, as well as the growth of existing marketed products. Prior to joining Gilead Sciences, Monica held numerous finance positions in high tech.
Monica earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain and London, England. She received her Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
