Lisa Hammann

Former Vice President and Regional Head for the North American Supply Chain, Genentech

Lisa Hammann is the Vice President and Region Head for the North American Supply Chain at Genentech.  In this role, she holds responsibility for ensuring supply of current and future medicines to North American patients.

She has been at Genentech since 2001 and has held a variety of roles in market planning, brand marketing, managed care and patient reimbursement and free medicine operations, and most recently was the franchise head and national sales director for Genentech’s cystic fibrosis franchise and the head of cross-portfolio strategy for the GIO business unit in the US Commercial organization. Lisa was named Genentech’s Rising Star for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association in 2008.

Prior to Genentech, Lisa was in strategic consulting and health services research and worked at GeneSage, Pacific Business Group on Health, UCSF Institute for Health Policy Studies, Pfizer, and Anderson Consulting Strategic Services. 

She holds a Master’s degree in health administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s in English from Yale.  She currently lives in Menlo Park with her husband, Andy, who is a doctoral student in history at Stanford, her son, Cole, who is a sixth grader, and her golden retrievers, Barr and Violet, who are quite loving but not very smart.
