Judith Lagano
President of NRG's East Region and Senior Vice President, NRG Energy, Inc
Judith Lagano is Senior Vice President of NRG Energy, Inc. and President of NRG’s East Region, the company’s largest business unit, leading commercial and business operations, development, long-term growth, and strategy for the region spanning from Chicago to New England to the Mid-Atlantic, encompassing 20 states and the District of Columbia. Judith has more than 25 years of experience in the power industry, and has been with NRG since 2001, most recently responsible for leading the region’s new business team. Previously, Judith served as Vice President of Asset Management for NRG responsible for nearly 20,000 MW of generation assets in NY, PJM, New England, and Florida.
Prior to joining NRG, she was General Manager of hydroelectric and cogeneration projects at United American Energy in New Jersey. Judith is a registered Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College.
