Jill Stelfox is Vice President and General Manager of Location Solutions at Zebra Technologies. She joined Zebra in November 2012, tasked with directing strategy to enhance, still further, the innovative solutions, market-leading applications, and exceptional value offered by the company.
Jill is a leader who creates inspiration through strategic vision alignment. Her ability to raise large sums of money to fund innovation and create shareholder value is unparalleled. Ultimately, she is a collaborative coalition builder who drives results and moves her companies’ forward.
Her goal is to accelerate the development of exciting new technologies and generate new applications that will bring Zebra customers’ additional benefits, in terms of efficiency, improvement in the bottom line, and rapid return on investment.
Before joining Zebra, Jill was Binary Group’s Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development, leading all functions related to finance and accounting, tax, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, and office management. Jill was also responsible for establishing the systems and capacities required to support company growth.
Before Binary, Jill co-founded and became CEO and Chairman of Defywire, a highly successful wireless technology company, providing real-time safety solutions to public and private schools, through establishing wireless connections between teachers, administrators, students, and parents.
For six years, Jill was an owner, CFO and Director of Mobile & Wireless at professional services firm, Noblestar Systems. As financial strategist, she oversaw all international expansion and spearheaded organic growth and pivotal resource acquisitions that positioned Noblestar as the preeminent leader in the global wireless consulting and integration market.
As Chief Financial Officer for Netafim Irrigation of North America, Jill developed and implemented the company’s strategic plan and business re-engineering initiatives. She also spent six years as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche, providing audit, tax, and advisory services to privately held, fast-growing and turn-around companies.
Jill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University. She is also a mom, a leader in her community, a philanthropist, and an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist.
