Chief Compliance Officer, Hill-Rom
Ilana Shulman is Chief Compliance Officer at Hill-Rom, a leading medical technology company. Ilana joined the company in November 2014 and serves as compliance advisor to the company, its executive leadership team and Board of Directors, and is responsible for shaping the company’s compliance strategy, for both today and the future. Consistent with the overall operation of the company, Ilana directs an agile compliance organization, able to make quick but thoughtful decisions, partnering with the business to drive short and long-term commercial goals. Innovation, a core value embraced by the company, is also a cornerstone of her efforts to achieve a compliance program that anticipates tomorrow’s challenges.
Prior to joining Hill-Rom, Ilana worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years in a variety of different legal and compliance roles of increasing responsibility, for more than a decade for Pfizer in New York and then Astellas in Chicago. One of her passions is international work, and Ilana enjoyed supporting markets around the world including Latin America, Japan, Asia and Europe.
Ilana earned her law degree from Colombia Law School and her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth University.
