Hilani Kerr

Hilani Kerr is Managing Director and the global head of the Foreign Exchange Product Sales Specialists (FX PSS) group in Global Transaction Services (GTS) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She is based in New York. The FX PSS group works across the bank’s multiple lines of business, including Global Markets, Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking, to sell and structure FX product solutions for large corporate, middle market and small business clients. Previously, Hilani led the Prime Brokerage relationship management business for Asia Pacific and was based in Hong Kong. Before joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2008, Hilani was at Deutsche Bank for nine years, most recently as head of the Offshore Alternative Investments business for the global transaction bank.
Hilani lived and worked in London, Mauritius, Jersey, and the Channel Islands during her tenure at Deutsche Bank, and also worked in Australia and Hong Kong earlier in her career. From her experiences working in the major financial services hubs around the world, Hilani has developed significant client and industry relationships as well as sound management expertise, both of which have informed her ability to structure tailored solutions that align with the strategic goals of the respective business’s client base.
Hilani is a passionate supporter of advancing women’s careers. She is actively engaged in the bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and is a member of Women’s Leadership Council (WLC). While in Asia, Hilani was the chair of the regional WLC and was also the LEAD for Women for four years. Twice, Hilani helped judge the ‘Women of Influence Awards” hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong. Additionally, she is a mentor to various bank and industry led initiatives that promote women in the work place.
Hilani is a passionate supporter of a number of philanthropic organizations. She and her family are particularly interested in supporting children’s educational charities and pediatric research hospitals.
Hilani is married and has two young children, aged 10 and 8 years. Hilani loves to run, bike, play tennis but most importantly views her little family as the single most important inspiration behind everything she does.
