Former Executive Vice President and Finance Director, Western Region, JLL
Gisselle Kelley, Executive Vice President and Finance Director, West Region at JLL. She is responsible for directing and leading all financial activities of the region, as well as contributing to the development of the overall business strategy. She is responsible for the oversight of the region’s corporate finance team (located in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Denver), budgeting and reporting functions, supporting leadership initiatives related to investment hires and retention of high value talent professionals, developing and supporting operational initiatives in the region and its M&A pursuits.
With more than 20 years of experience, Gisselle is a leader in the finance field developing customized solutions for our internal and external clients while delivering high quality financial, administrative and operations results through streamline operations, processes and team structures.
As a real estate professional for the last 16 years, Gisselle specializes in being an analytical problem solver, skilled in developing financial controls, policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, protect assets and maximize profitability. Gisselle possesses the intellectual and creative leadership to develop and transform business strategy and to create an environment of continuous improvement, cost reduction and service excellence.
Prior to joining JLL in October of 2011, Gisselle spent 9 years at Grubb & Ellis as the West Regional Controller for the client accounting services division where she lead accounting and financial responsibilities for over 75 million square feet of commercial real estate under management and over 85 accounting professionals. During this time, she serviced many clients, among them are Invesco, Beacon, HCP, Wells Fargo, Microsoft, IBM, and Johnson Controls.
Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis she provided professional services to The Macerich Company, the third largest owner and operator of shopping centers in the United States, and Madison Marquette, a capital guidance company.
Before moving to the United States, she was a Senior Tax consultant for PriceWaterhouse in the International Taxation division where she supported clients as Shell, Mobil, and Otis with their tax planning and organization to maximize the result of these American companies doing business in Latin America.
Gisselle holds a Masters in Accounting and an undergraduate degree from the University of Uruguay and is an active Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and is a member of the AICPA.
