Elizabeth Christensen is Vice President, Global Business Operations at Xaxis, a digital media company which programmatically connects advertisers and publishers to audiences across all addressable media channels. In this role Elizabeth is responsible for driving global efficiency, accountability and profitability across the organization through the evaluation and improvement of process and operations. Her team then builds and implements new tools and products to drive efficiency.
Prior to her current role she was Director, Product Development at Xaxis and worked with various platforms such as the DMP and DSP.
Before Xaxis, Elizabeth was Manager, Digital Product Development at Sterling Publishing where she was responsible for all digital app development, website development and various digital content. She also pioneered the eBook development process for the company. Elizabeth also worked as an account executive at various creative agencies in Los Angeles and New York including JWT, Team One Advertising, Toy – An Advertising Agency and TBWA/Chiat/Day where she was involved in print, television, and digital campaigns.
Elizabeth’s uniquely mixed background in content publishing and advertising taught her to think strategically about both sides of the media ecosystem. Her business development and product development skills come from working on a wide range of technologies and her marketing and advertising background has spanned categories such as luxury automobiles, packaged goods, retail, online properties, books/authors, audience buying, technology product launches, and more.
Elizabeth has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California Los Angeles. She has the tenacity to have run four marathons and lives with her daughter, husband and dog in Brooklyn, NY.
