Amy Zuckerman

Former Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Salvatore Ferragamo

Amy Zuckerman is an inspired and authentic storyteller who impacts the lives of hundreds and thousands of people within her company and beyond. A passionate culture-carrier, Amy inspires growth, transformation, and collaboration within any team that she leads.

Amy is currently the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Salvatore Ferragamo for the Americas. In this role she is responsible for strategic planning, organizational design and development, employee relations, training and development, and talent assessment. Amy has seen the company grow from 9 stores to more than 50, all while maintaining an engaged and consistent workforce that operates at max efficiency.

Some of Amy’s greatest accomplishments during her tenure include: the recruitment and development of a strong executive team, development of performance management systems, measurements and compensation programs, and the establishment of a strong corporate culture based on the Ferragamo family values. Most recently, she managed the shift in the business from traditional retail to an omni-channel perspective, while navigating through challenging economic times and never losing sight of the importance of human capital management.

This top-tier executive has always been passionate about people. She started her career in banking HR before becoming the Director of Human Resources at Escada USA, where she spent 7 years. Amy then moved to an e-commerce company, where she fearlessly led the talent initiatives through the entire life-cycle of the company from inception, to exponential growth, to IPO, and finally Chapter 11.

Amy is an engaged member of AWE (Advancing Women Executives) and SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management) and volunteers in her spare time with the Children’s Heart Foundation. When she is not working, she enjoys travelling the world with her family or cooking something extra special for her boys. Amy is an advocate for self-care and prioritizes movement in her life – she can often be found starting her day on the bike (either on the road or in a spin class) or on her yoga mat. She lives in New Jersey with her loving husband, their two children, and sweet puppy, Lucy.

Amy completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with honors, from Lehigh University and earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from Boston University.
