Alessandra Bellini is Vice President of Food North America and General Manager USA at Unilever, responsible for P&L, Strategy, Portfolio, innovation & communication, Customers and Consumers Activation. Alessandra joined Unilever Italy in 1996. She is an international executive with an obsession for developing people and growing brands, as the ultimate levers to successful business.
She’s been in the United States since 2012, and led the transformation of the Ice Cream Portfolio of brands at Unilever, turning it into a sustainable, profitable, and fast growing business, achieving #1 position in the market, for the first time ever.
Prior to moving to the United States, Alessandra held a number of board level marketing roles in Italy as well as Central and Eastern Europe, across the span of the Unilever portfolio of categories.
Alessandra started her career in advertising where she grew to become a Client Services Director, working on multinational clients both in Italy and in the UK.
She is a trusted partner at executive level – interested in impacting broader business agenda and contribute to the culture and values of the company. She believes in bringing strategy and vision to life through a strong combination of heart and mind.
Alessandra is married, and has two children ages 23 and 16. She is an avid reader of crime thrillers and loves scuba diving.
