Diane Berk is the Assistant Vice President of Recruitment and Diversity for Zenith Insurance Company. Her professional life has been spent in the human resources field where she has expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations and training and development. In her current role at Zenith she has branched into the area of diversity and inclusion and is enjoying the challenges it brings.
One of the things that Diane has loved about her work in human resources is the applicability to many situations and industries. Over the years she has worked in industries as diverse as entertainment, non-profit, insurance, media, research and finance. Companies where she’s held positions include 20th Century Fox, Health Net and Prudential on Wall Street. For 10 years she was a Senior Consultant with Drake Beam Morin where she taught job search and change management techniques and consulted with executives experiencing career transition.
Diane enjoys mentoring and coaching young adults as they transition from school to the work world. She has volunteered with sociology students at Cal State University Northridge assisting them with resumes, interviewing techniques and job search ideas.
In 1990 Diane’s book, Preparing for Your Interview was published by Crisp Publications and later translated into four languages. She is a graduate of UCLA.
