Amy Kan serves as Vice President of Marketing Communications for Vubiquity where she oversees corporate marketing, communications, public relations and events. In her tenure at Vubiquity, during which the company has expanded from 80 to more than 500 employees globally, Amy grew the department to include creative services, content marketing and event management, launching tradeshow exhibition, corporate sponsorships, consumer research, and trade advertising.
Amy has driven aggressive corporate communications plans for the company around acquisitions, including the On Demand Group and most recently, FilmFlex, as well as product launches and company growth.
As a strategic marketer and communicator, Amy combined customer and stakeholder insights, creativity and management skills, to lead the company’s rebranding from Avail-TVN to Vubiquity in March 2013. The new branding received numerous awards from the Business Marketing Association, including the prestigious Global Ace, for Brand Identity/Brand Name.
Previous to Vubiquity, Amy developed extensive experience in entertainment and media in both the UK and US, including 3 years at British Airways PLC where she managed the inflight entertainment program of 18 video channels and 4 magazines, and in media consulting positions with Hydra Associates, Cap Gemini, Hit Entertainment and BBC Digital Radio. She also spent three years at the Central Park Conservancy, driving new fundraising and events programs.
Amy received her MBA from the London Business School and holds a BA in Communications from the University of Michigan.
