Andrea Lewis is a dynamic, no-nonsense finance executive who brings 30 years of experience taking ideas to implementation. As a decisive manager, she toggles seamlessly between independent project management and collaboration. She has a proven track record of optimizing processes and driving effectiveness including converting eight different operating companies to SAP, implementing AI, and transforming businesses. With an eye toward efficiency, she stabilized off-shoring in the finance function resulting in an annual savings of 5 million dollars.
Currently, she is the Worldwide Executive Finance Director, Regional Controller, North America at Ogilvy & Mather. Andrea and her team oversee worldwide departmental budgets and the compliance of Ogilvy North America, support Geometry US, manage and implement new and existing WPP accounting guidelines, support the company’s financial system SAP, and are responsible for the Ogilvy North America Shared Service Center.
Andrea joined Ogilvy in 1990, as a staff accountant and has demonstrated success in numerous finance positions with increasing responsibility and scope. Roles have ranged from financial management of Graphic Services Studio Operations and Finance Director of the BP/Castrol business to Chief Financial Officer of Ogilvy Healthworld and Ogilvy South. Most recently she served as Controller, North America.
People and travel are integral to Andrea. When she is not crunching the numbers, she can be found broadening her horizons and questioning assumptions in places across the globe like her latest safari trip in South Africa. She plans to touch every continent – 5 down and 2 to go. Next on her list? South America.
Andrea completed her bachelor’s degree at Baruch College in New York.
