Ruth Ann Keene is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Autodesk, Inc., a global leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software and services. In this role, Ruth Ann is responsible for the legal function for all Autodesk product, marketing, strategy, operations, business and technology divisions, supporting Autodesk’s portfolio of products and services, business models, cloud initiatives and operations. Ruth Ann also acts as the legal advisor to the company’s Corporate Strategy team. Prior to this role, Ruth Ann was legal partner for the company’s Manufacturing products division, the Architecture, Engineering and Construction division and was also responsible for the legal aspects of the company’s suites and web services initiatives. Ruth Ann joined Autodesk in 2005. In 2013, Ruth Ann was named by the Recorder magazine (a leading California legal publication) as one of the Women Leaders in Technology Law.

Before joining Autodesk, Ruth Ann practiced in the Technology Transactions group in the San Francisco and Denver offices of Morrison & Foerster where she advised clients on business transactions and counseling matters involving intellectual property and technology. Before law school, she spent several years doing market and construction analysis for TCG, a competitive local telecom provider.

Ruth Ann received her BA and law degree from Cornell University. She is a member of the California and Colorado State Bars.
