Vicky Dinges

Vicky Dinges brings Allstate’s “Good Hands” to life among employees and within communities across the United States. As Senior Vice President, Corporate Relations, she leads employee communications, a range of business communications and the company’s reputation strategy, integrating public affairs, strategic philanthropy and corporate responsibility. Vicky’s efforts shape Allstate’s culture and reputation, build a better society and drive business growth.
Vicky knows that Allstate’s business success begins with the engagement of its employees. Through interactive and multimedia communications reaching more than 30,000 Allstaters, Vicky’s team drives the company’s values and strategy across the business and shapes corporate culture by highlighting the passions and contributions of individual employees as they lend their own “Good Hands” to customers and communities. Her team also provides communication counsel and support to various Allstate business units, providing line of sight to employees and connecting them to the company’s broader purpose.

Vicky’s team strives to deepen relationships with federal, state and local policymakers and community leaders, and position Allstate as a trusted partner. Through the “When Good Hands People Give Back” initiative, Vicky ensures our hometowns are better, safer places to live. The Allstate Foundation’s Teen Safe Driving and Domestic Violence signature programs, corporate volunteerism, and the company’s cultural and civic initiatives are all integral to this effort. Through these programs and the “Good Hands” of thousands of employees and agency owners, Allstate contributed more than $29 million to community projects in 2013.

Prior to joining Allstate in 2007, Vicky served as Vice President, External Affairs for the McCormick Tribune Foundation, one of Chicago’s largest charitable organizations. She has also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication at RR Donnelley and led marketing and corporate communications for NICOR’s largest subsidiary.

Vicky is Chair of the National Network to End Domestic Violence Board, is on the Board of Directors of the YWCA Evanston/North Shore and the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and is on the Board of Trustees of Adler University. She is a President’s Circle Member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and a member of the Executives’ Club of Chicago, the Conference Board Contributions Council and the Arthur W. Page Society.

Vicky holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management.

Through her natural care and concern for others, Vicky is a tireless advocate for driving positive social change. With more than 35 years of professional experience in Fortune 500 and philanthropic organizations, she leads organizations to empower their employees and surrounding communities to reach their potential and build a better society.
