Trisha Stiles is the Vice President of Human Resources for the Entertainment, News and Sports (ESN) division at CBS Interactive based in San Francisco, California. CBS Interactive, a top 10 global Internet property and one of the largest publishers of premium content online. She is the lead HR Business Partner for all the CBS Brands which includes; CBS.com, CBSNews.com, CBSSports.com, College Sports and MaxPreps. She also leads HR for the ESN central teams that includes; Sales, BI, Operations, Product Marketing, Content Strategy and Business Development. In addition to running HR for ESN she also helps lead HR Operations for all of CBS Interactive. Trisha works on strategic projects such as Work Force Planning, Performance Management and Compliance. She has experience working with Employee Resource Groups and Diversity initiatives such as the GE Woman’s Network, GE Mentors, Cable Diversity Teams, and CBSi Cares. As a member of these teams she has helped drive diversity and giving as a strategic business initiative. Trisha has other HR experience working in Banking, Finance, Consulting and Pharmaceuticals. She also spent time as a Congressional Intern in DC and taught English as a foreign language in Japan.
Trisha holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She is currently working on completing her second Masters in International Affairs-Business and Finance from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.
Trisha has spent extensive time working, traveling and volunteering in Europe, Asia, and SE Asia. She helped develop a Teacher Leadership Training program for Cambodian English and Computer teachers and helps support several Cambodian NGO’s. She speaks basic Japanese and Spanish and is now learning French. Trisha has received several awards for her HR work over the years, but she is most proud of winning a Regional Emmy for her help and support of the San Diego Wildfires in 2007.
