As Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Activision Publishing, Sherrie Sage Schwartz is responsible for all people related initiatives, programs and processes for the organization. This includes the HR oversight for global development studios and business unit employees. In her three years with the company, Sherrie has partnered with the CEO and leadership team to accelerate business performance through the right talent, structures, compensation and resources. Additionally, she has works to embed a refocused set of values and culture, transform Activision’s recruiting efforts, and has helped develop the next set of leaders for the company.
Sherrie is an experienced human resources executive who successfully partners with global senior leaders and teams to develop and execute a vision and strategies which deliver profitable results. Through a deep understanding of company strategies, financials, and organization capabilities – she focuses on accelerating the performance and results of individuals, teams and organizations. Sherrie has broad experience in multiple global industries (consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, apparel, retail, entertainment, video games). Additionally, she brings expertise in organization design, total rewards, talent acquisition and talent development.
Prior to Activision, Sherrie held several global HR positions at Levi Strauss & CO., including roles as the HR Leader for its Americas Business and Global Supply Chain and VP of Organization and Talent Development for the company.
Sherrie started her career at Kraft Foods – working in HR across all segments of the business.
She has her MBA from the University of Illinois and Undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
