Eden_3X4_bEden Feder is Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Zenith Insurance Company, a specialty workers’ compensation company based inWoodland Hills, CA. A wholly owned subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited since 2010, Zenith was previously a publicly traded company. Eden has national leadership responsibility for all aspects of Human Resources and Learning & Development for 1400 employees located in 18 branch locations across the United States. She has worked for Zenith on two separate occasions, holding the roles of Learning & Development Manager, Vice President of Learning & Development, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and her current role since February 2007.
Eden’s career prior to Zenith includes roles primarily focused on Organization Development for companies such as Disney Consumer Products, Blue Cross of CA, and National Medical Enterprises. Eden’s undergraduate degree is in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and she received her masters’ degree and completed 2 years in the Organizational Psychology doctoral program from California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles.

Under Eden’s leadership Zenith has implemented numerous important human capital management practices such as the development of a company-wide success profile, complete overhaul to the company’s performance management and merit system, establishment of an employee opinion survey, design of a robust leadership training curriculum, succession planning, and implementation of a learning management system. Two unique projects include the Company’s focus on employee wellness programs designed to manage the long-term cost of healthcare and the delivery of training on Human Resources related topics directly to Zenith’s customers. Eden enjoys working for Zenith because of the company’s focus on creating an organizational culture that supports business profitability, high employee engagement and excellence in customer service. Eden lives in Tarzana with her husband Scott and her two children, Jack, age 12 and Eva, age 6.
