Jill Harley
Former Managing Director, Corporate Finance Services, CME Group
Jill Harley is the Managing Director, Corporate Finance Services at CME Group, the world’s leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace. Jill has over 30 years of experience in financial services, specifically in the futures and derivatives industry. She is the highest ranking woman within the finance organization and reports directly to the CFO. Her responsibilities include global oversight of CME’s ERP implementation of Workday, slated for production in Q2 2017 and global outsourcing of financial reporting and transactions for all entities outside of the US and UK.
Prior to her current role at CME, Jill served as Chief Accounting Officer at both the Chicago Board of Trade and CME Group Inc., having responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, accounting compliance, corporate tax, real estate, facilities and corporate procurement. She has served as interim Treasurer with responsibility for treasury and insurance as well as the cash management functions.
As a part of her roles at CME, Jill has participated in over $20 billion in mergers and acquisitions and the IPO of the Chicago Board of Trade. Jill has direct interface with CME Group’s Board of Directors, Audit, Finance and Compensation Committees. She serves as a Director of CME Marketing Europe Ltd. and CME Operations Ltd. She serves internally on the company’s retirement committee and enterprise risk management team. Jill also serves as the Treasurer of CME Group Community Foundation. She is a registered certified public accountant and has an MBA from DePaul University.
