Jennifer Cho
Former Senior Vice President of Finance, AT&T Entertainment Group
Jennifer Cho is Senior Vice President, a member of the finance leadership team in AT&T Entertainment Group. Jennifer is currently serving as CFO of Technology and Strategy within AT&T Entertainment Group. In this role, she is responsible for financial operations of the business including budgeting, forecasting, capital management, trend analysis and strategic planning.
Prior to the close of the DTV transaction, Cho was Senior Vice President and Treasurer of DIRECTV. She was one of the eight elected officers at DIRECTV and a member of the Disclosure Committee and Investment Review Committee. In that role, she led all aspects of the treasury, FP&A and corporate development functions to drive value creation across the company. Specifically, she was responsible for business development, M&A, capital structure management, corporate financing, banking and rating agency relationships, cash management and investment, budget and capital planning and forecasting.
Since joining the company in April 2014, Jennifer led the corporate development team on the AT&T transaction to deal announcement. Following the announcement, she was appointed to lead the merger integration planning for DIRECTV. She created the integration planning team structure with a highly talented group of leaders to drive execution, provide cross-functional support, and identify key issues and report progress to DIRECTV executives and AT&T Integration Management Office.
Prior to joining the company, Jennifer spent 10 years with Gap Inc., where she was most recently Chief Financial Officer for Gap North America Division. During her tenure at Gap, she held several critical roles in finance throughout different lines of business, including corporate treasurer and vice president for Gap Strategic Alliances in the U.K. for its international franchise business. In total, Jennifer has more than 25 years of finance experience in banking, corporate finance, corporate development, treasury, and operating business unit.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. She served on the University of Notre Dame Alumni Diversity Board and she was a member of the Gap Inc. Diversity Council and the Gap Inc. Foundation’s Audit Committee.
She is based at AT&T’s El Segundo, California headquarters.
