Jane Waxman
Former Executive Vice President, Deputy CFO, Fox Filmed Entertainment
Jane Waxman is Executive Vice President, Deputy CFO for Fox Filmed Entertainment where she is a key member of the Finance team and is responsible for shaping the organization and its goals. In her current role she provides financial leadership and guidance to over 250 employees in all finance divisions including theatrical production, theatrical distribution, home entertainment, mobile, television distribution and Searchlight Pictures. Jane is responsible for driving strategic priorities, setting financial priorities, policies and procedures and controls for the worldwide finance organization. Her greatest strength is her ability to create, mentor and lead a large group of employees allowing them to feel valued and empowered. Jane also oversees finance for studio operations, accounts payable, payroll, production finance and strategic sourcing.
She was instrumental in launching Fox International Productions as well as the joint venture with Fox/Star India. In addition, Jane played a key role in the expansion of digital media and the ongoing film financing agreements for the company. She has overseen key finance initiatives including: reestablishing trust and restructuring the international finance organization, creation of a Corporate Compliance group and development of a mentorship program.
Prior to joining Fox, Jane was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young. She received her degree from University of California, Santa Barbara. Jane is currently on the Eye Street Board (MPAA building in Washington, DC) and is an officer for numerous financing arrangements at the studio. In addition, Jane is the Chairwoman for the Sponsorship committee benefitting Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center at Miller’s Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA.
