Chicago AWE Leader Kathleen Cantillon, Vice President, Strategic Communications at an Aviation Company says, “Fake it until you make it – in other words, you don’t have to know how to do every responsibility listed with a specific role. If you know some of it, are smart and know how to ask good questions, you will do fine. Believe me, men have not hesitation going for a new job/role that they might not be totally qualified for and you have to think the same way to move up.”
