Carol Reber is the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer for Duckhorn Wine Company, which carries one of the finest portfolios of American super-luxury wine brands in the world today, including Duckhorn Vineyards, Goldeneye Anderson Valley, Paraduxx Napa Valley, Migration and Decoy by Duckhorn. Carol is responsible for Duckhorn Wine Company’s strategic marketing, business development, trade marketing, corporate brand communications, direct to consumer sales and the company’s acclaimed hospitality programs for its three winery estates. Within Carol’s first two years at Duckhorn, she was instrumental in nearly doubling case volume and earnings. In addition, under her leadership, the Decoy by Duckhorn brand has reached the #2 spot in the $20 + SRP category and wine club membership has grown three fold. Prior to joining Duckhorn Wine Company, Carol was a partner and the Vice President of Marketing for 858 Wine Partners, where she launched and managed a portfolio encompassing 14 brands, achieving overall volume growth of 165 percent and revenue growth of 195 percent. Carol also honed her skills at respected companies including Pricewaterhouse Coopers, The Walt Disney Company, Foster’s Wine Estates Americas, and Ernest & Julio Gallo.
The brands that Carol manages have won awards repeatedly, including winning the coveted Beverage Information Group Fast Track Growth Brand Award three years in a row. She serves as the Advisor to the Wine Service Coop Direct and a Director at CIF, a family-owned holding company of corn and soybean farms.
