Former Vice President of Legal and Associate General Counsel, Gigamon
Jennifer Miller is Vice President of Legal and Associate General Counsel at Gigamon where she advises on all aspects of the data-center visibility company’s business. She and her team manage all legal matters related to sales, channel, commercial contracts, real estate, IP, technology and product development, regulatory compliance (including antitrust, export-import, anti-bribery and governmental contracts), engineering, support and marketing.
An accomplished attorney, Jennifer has worked with both large and small companies in achieving their business goals and is particularly skilled in helping new businesses and business models scale and grow revenue. As the second attorney to join Gigamon pre-IPO in 2012, she has built the legal department from the ground up while supporting the company’s rapid revenue growth. While at Gigamon, Jennifer launched and spearheads the company’s GigaWOMEN initiative, which focuses on accelerating inclusion and professional development for the company’s employees.
Prior to joining Gigamon, Jennifer worked on the legal teams of Hewlett-Packard and Cisco. She is a regular speaker on matters such as leadership development, career transitions and networking, conducting business online, copyright strategy, building a privacy practice, and licensing content.
Before becoming an attorney, Jennifer had a career in politics, working on the campaign and statehouse staff of a former Maryland State Governor. During her spare time, she is an active community volunteer and enjoys traveling the globe with her husband and two sons.
