Former Chief Audit Officer, Caterpillar

Amy A. Campbell is the Chief Audit Officer for Caterpillar Inc.  She has worldwide responsibility for Caterpillar’s Internal Auditing Division. Amy joined Caterpillar in 1996 as an intern and has held accounting and finance leadership positions across many of the company’s divisions including; Global Information Systems, Product Development, Manufacturing Operations, Financial Services and Large Power Systems.  She was selected in the first wave of blackbelts to launch 6 Sigma at Caterpillar.  She also served as the Corporate Forecasting Manager where she led initiatives to improve the forecasting process, and she was a sub-team member on the Enterprise’s 2010 Strategic Planning Council to update the enterprise strategy.

Amy graduated summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with a major in accounting and a minor in economics.  She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified 6 Sigma Blackbelt.

Amy is also a graduate of Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management Women’s Senior Leadership and Executive Scholar programs.  Amy serves as Treasurer on the Board of Peoria Riverfront Museum and the Finance Board of the Peoria/Bloomington chapter of Easter Seals.
