Advancing Women Executives (AWE) is a fast growth company with the mission to accelerate the careers of women in business to improve the global economy, by providing executives the opportunity to build cross-functional and cross-industry relationships in a safe, locally-based environment. AWE services include events, training, and executive coaching. AWE currently supports executives based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, New York and Chicago. AWE is based in Los Angeles, CA, but has staff in all other client regions.

Regional Director

Responsibilities 

  • Prospecting and closing sales in Chicago;

  • Lead and develop a team of sales and client relations associates;

  • Sales forecasting and new business pipeline management;

  • Strategize about sales and client relations process and services;

  • Conduct Training Sessions across Chicago;

  • Host bi-annual events and monthly dinners with AWE leaders.

Qualifications

  • Natural ability to connect with people and to be a connector for people;

  • 6+ years transactional sales or fundraising experience with success negotiating and closing business;

  • Exceptional ability to immediately establish one's credibility with senior executives;

  • Willingness to work outside strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of customer/member service and overall business growth;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;

  • Strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to large groups;

  • Great sense of humor;

  • Excellent meeting facilitation skills; ability to conduct 100% phone-based meetings;

  • Ability to meet personal and team weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals;

  • Superior time management, detail orientation and organization skills;

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.


Regional and Member Relations Associate 

Responsibilities

Inside Sales/Scheduling:

  • Engage with senior-level corporate executive women to proactively schedule and confirm sales meetings through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns;

  • Gather business intelligence on companies, leads and qualified prospects;

  • Partner with Regional Director to create customized plans for assigned territories to support sales cycle success and to drive urgency;

  • Ensure that CRM database contains accurate account details and contact information;

  • Prepare pre-visit materials for prospect interactions;

  • Shadow and participate in calls, visits, presentations and web walk throughs;

  • Schedule follow-up calls accordingly.

Supporting Member Pool:

  • Schedule and actively participate in Welcome Call;

  • Email and track all invitations to events, including Afternoon Events and Dinners;

  • Schedule quarterly check-in calls, executive coaching sessions, renewal calls, and on-site Training Sessions;

  • Shadow and participate in calls, visits, presentations and Training Sessions.

Event Support:

  • Coordinate Afternoon Tea logistics, i.e. invitations, marketing materials, name tags, speaker gifts;

  • Afternoon Tea onsite support, including check-in, material/gift coordination.

  • Coordinate Dinner logistics, i.e. venue details, invitations, ensure member participation

  • Occasional dinner onsite support
